Professional educators of the Newburgh Enlarged City School District participated in the first of NYSUT's Achievement Gap Initiatives on October 6 and October 7, 2009 at the NTA Offices. The goal of this project is to assist educators to improve student achievement and narrow the achievement gap.
In attendance were staff from Gardnertown, Gidney Avenue and Temple Hill
Academy as well as Dr. Annette Saturnelli, Dawn Fucheck, Marsha Sobel, John Eitel and
NTA President Patricia Van Duser.
